International Benefits

With ABEEK's full membership to Washington Accord (WA) in June, 2007, all the graduates of accredited programs have acquired the same legislative and societal eligibility among those full member countries of Accreditation

Korea (ABEEK: Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea)
  • accord to the principles of WA full membership
Australia (EA: Engineers Australia)
  • approved as the same level of Professional Engineer and eligible for National Professional Engineer Register
  • in applying for Technical Immigrant program, document exemption will be granted
Canada (EC: Engineers Canada)
  • without any disqualification to Licensing body, encouraged to treat with Canadian graduates
  • in educational qualification assessment, examination exempted

    In acquiring Canadian Qualification, meet the criteria below

    • 3-4 year experience in Engineering including one year in Canada
    • in processional practice, must pass in two subject like "Law" and "Ethics"
    • must be fluent in English(French in Quebec, French or English in New Brunswick)
Ireland (EI: Engineers Ireland)
  • respectful full members in WA and admit educational requirements for eligibility to Chartered Engineer
New Zealand (IPENZ: Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand)

  • in applying for FE in Texas State, applicants from full membership of WA will receive the same academic recognition
HongKong (HKIE: The HongKong Institution of Engineer)
  • recognize the same educational requirements with HKIE registered
South Africa (ECSA: Engineering Council of South Africa)
  • recognize educational requirement for Engineering candidates
Japan (JABEE: Japan Accreditation Board for Engineering Education)
  • in applying for master or doctoral program, recommendation to have complete appropriate undergraduate programs
  • in job applying, JABEE's recommendation will be issued
